FREE CLOUD STORAGE — UNDER REVIEW
A little space for everyone?
We are considering a free server-storage tier. Its allowance is not decided yet; today’s early-access preview remains 1 GiB. Free peer-to-peer transfers remain available independently.
WHAT YOU CAN USE TODAY
Try it now.
Grow into it later.
Free peer-to-peer transfers are available now. Both browsers must be signed into the same account and remain online. Files stay on the devices, with no server storage or file relay. Current direct transfer limit: 128 MiB per file.
You can also try server-backed access with a 1 GiB early-access allowance, including retained versions. Browser uploads and downloads currently support 64 MiB per file. Choosing the preview does not activate Basic or Pro.
We will open paid storage once independent backups and restore checks, paid-plan limits and subscription controls are ready. Today’s version history is useful recovery, but is not an independent backup.

ON THE ROADMAP
Make your files
work a little harder.
Planned paid add-onFiledSafely folder proofs.
Choose folders whose changed file versions should receive a blockchain timestamp through FiledSafely. Keep the proof next to the version it describes.
Pricing to follow once proof costs, batching and usage limits are agreed. Not enabled today.
Planned transfer featureSend what’s already there.
Select files from your online storage, create a download link and send it to someone without asking them to open an account. No second upload needed.
Expiring links, revocation, password protection and download allowances are planned. Packaging and pricing are still being worked out; transfer links are not available today.
A FEW USEFUL DETAILS
Know what you’re choosing.
Will free peer-to-peer remain free?
That is the model: free direct transfers between your devices, with paid storage only when you want the server to keep a copy. A direct connection depends on both networks allowing it; there is no automatic server fallback.
What does the planned storage allowance cover?
Basic is planned at 100 GB. A 1 TB Pro plan is under review, along with a free server-storage tier whose allowance has not yet been decided. Before launch we will publish how retained versions count against those allowances. Backup copies will not be charged to your visible allowance. The current 1 GiB preview counts all retained file blocks.
Can I pay for Basic or Pro now?
No. These are proposed plans, not an active subscription. We will publish final backup and retention details before taking payment.
Are files end-to-end encrypted?
Direct WebRTC transfers are encrypted between browsers. Server-backed transfers use HTTPS; stored files are currently readable by the service operator. We do not claim zero-knowledge server storage.
